Registration is now open for the Spanish Core Competency training program. Registration is closed for all other Core Competency training programs. The next registration for English Core Competency training opens May 10th, 2024.

The Community Health Worker Training Program (CHWTP) is designed to strengthen the skills and knowledge of community health workers with a focus on documentation, advocacy, healing justice, and social determinants of health (SDOH). The CHWTP offers a multi-week CHW Core Competency training for community health workers (CHWs) and short, 1-2 hour Health Specific Modules quarterly.

CHW Core Competency is offered in two styles: 
       - Remote: 10-weeks with 2 live webinars. The entire course is online.
       - Hybrid: 8-weeks with 2 in-person training days. The majority of the course is online with the exception of the in-person training days.

Health Specific Modules are designed to be short, online, self-paced, and take about 1-2 hours to complete. These modules open for 2 weeks and must be completed before the final date.
